VivoScene Terms of Use

Thank you for choosing to be a part of VivoScene, a website/forum dedicated to music and music-related discussion on all genres from all time periods.

Goals
We strive to be the most in-depth forum for music discussion on the Web.
To that end, we aim to provide the following:

• An unbiased site for music lovers where they can discuss the music-related issues
  of importance to themselves and to our member community at large.
• Compelling photography to accompany the discussions.
• The most open, honest, friendly, and the most respected music forum in existence.

To achieve these objectives we will manage the forums accordingly.

Rules
Posting in the VivoScene forums is a privilege, and not a right.

• We are in favour of vigorous debate and lively discussion; however we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks, or obscene material.
• Please refrain from submitting nonsense posts or one word posts.
• We will not allow threads or posts bashing other forums or their members.
• Other music-related message board links are allowed if they reciprocate. Members may post their names without fear of being banned on VivoScene.
• No removal of our content to be used on other sites will be permitted, unless consent is obtained from VivoScene management in advance.
• No foul language will be allowed in any VivoScene forum or message board.
• Discussion of illegal activities such as software/music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
• Each member is allowed one log-in account. Registering with multiple accounts is not permitted, nor is impersonating another member. Multiple identities and false e-mail addresses are not allowed.
• No spamming or unauthorized commercial posting in the “Forums” or listing in the “Desperately Seeking” without prior approval from VivoScene management.
• Nude pictures are not allowed. The Gallery photos will be reviewed on a regular basis by our Photo Editor and the Editor has the right to remove any photo at his sole discretion.
• No religious or political discussions.
• Please respect our sponsors as they provide important financial support.
• We reserve the right to ban any member/poster who violates the rules.
• We reserve the right to remove posts we consider offensive, with no prior notice to the poster.

Signatures

• All signatures must be limited in graphics size. Large linked pictures are not available due to bandwidth limitations.
• Do not include inappropriate links in your signature. No objectionable content will be permitted in the signature area.
• Do not post “For Sale”, “Looking to Buy” or “Want to Trade” listings or similar material in your signature.

Avatars
Avatars are permitted but must not contain, in our sole discretion, any objectionable or adult-oriented material. Such avatars will be removed without notice.

Copyright Terms of Use
All material published on the VivoScene forums will be copyrighted by VivoScene unless arranged otherwise in advance through our management. Members agree that their posts (including any photos submitted to the VivoScene forums or the VivoScene Gallery) may be selected for further publication, without compensation, in other VivoScene productions such as annual or monthly “Best of VivoScene” projects which may be offered for sale to VivoScene members and/or the general public.
