Producer John Askew (Dodos, Neko Case, Wild Flag, House of Wolves and Ramona Falls) recently did a remix of Cloud Seeding’s “Ink Jar” (feat. Marissa Nadler) at his Scenic Burrows studio in Portland, Oregon. The Limited Edition (of 100) remix of “Ink Jar” cassette is now available at Otherworldly Mystic cassette label. You can pick one up here.

Bleek Records is also making the remix available as bonus download with purchase of the CD single at Bleek Records website in early April 2012. It’s a stunner, with Serra’s distinctive guitar and Marissa’s gorgeous mix in a truly memorable electromix.

Cloud Seeding is a music singles project by Brooklyn-based guitarist Kevin Serra. The project was conceived as a space for collaboration to showcase vocalists he admires.

For the first single, Serra worked with Boston-based singer Marissa Nadler while she was briefly living in Brooklyn just a few blocks away. The single was recorded and mixed in Green Point at Cedar Apffel’s (Natureboy/Masterface) studio and was mastered at Salt Mastering.

Serra is currently working with other vocalists and more tracks with Marissa Nadler. Bleek Records will be releasing a brand new Cloud Seeding single in the very near future.
