The Bots ‘Northern Lights’ and more

For fans of The White Stripes and The Black Keys, and for fans of teenage bands who are simply killing it worldwide while their friends are still in high school, we proudly present the most talented newcomers to arrive in rock music in quite some time. The two brothers known simply as The Bots are living the dream, but don’t think these kids are one-offs. Anything but. The Bots consist of Mikaiah Lei ( 18, on guitar and vocals), and his brother Anaiah Lei (14, on drums); they grew up in Glendale, California and are currently stationed in London due to their heavy concert schedule in little places like Italy, Luxembourg, Holland and all around the U.K. Right now they’re opening for a little band known as Blur, but soon they’ll be headlining. Oh, yes, they write their own material, they play like fiends, and they’re working on their fourth album. Not to mention all those YouTube vids of their well-received live performances that are forcing bands twice their age to rethink their priorities. The Bots have got it going on, alright. They’re fierce, they’re mature, and they’re focused. Just like you and I were when we were fourteen and eighteen…
The Bots have recorded three albums, two of them singles, and are currently working on their next full length. Self-Titled Album (2009), Black and White Lights (2010), and Ladies & Gentlemen (2011) are all currently available on on their website (thebotsband.com) and on iTunes in October.
Take a look at this “Northern Lights” vid and then get back to your practicing!!! As if there’s ever going to be any catching up to The Bots.
