
Forget Glastonbury: the best music festival of this past weekend was without a doubt Calgary’s Sled Island Festival. For 4 days every decent (and a few not-so-decent) venue in the downtown area played host to over 200 bands, as well as a number of comedians, films and art exhibits.

Is it possible to find a playlist using only the tags “Jack White”, “whiskey”, “southwest” and “desert”? If you can find it please let me know, I’ve searched for it and had no luck, but if I had come across it then that exact playlist would have been on heavy rotation in my home/car/office for [...]

Two days later and I’m still suffering from the effects of LCD Soundsystem‘s last ever show at Madison Square Garden.
