The latest re-working of the classic horror film ‘Carrie’, by director Kimberly Pierce, is both perverse and a lot of ruinous fun. Author Stephen King concocted one deplorable and over-the-top revenge scenario that with Pierce’s much needed female perspective proves riveting and blood-tingling.
